Lisa and Wayne Rootsaert have been part of the dance community for over 30 years.

~~Lisa Rootsaert is a well known choreographer/instructor for various dance organisations across Western Canada, and has co-owned and operated her own studio. Lisa is currently a senior choreographer, instructor and Artistic Director for the Camrose Academy of Dance. Disciplined in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, acro and modern. Lisa a veteran of the Alberta dance festival and dance competition scene, has travelled extensively with much success across Canada, the United States with her dance career as a performer, teacher, choreographer, adjudicator and now festival director. Dancers under Lisa’s training have moved on and grown into exceptional professional dancers, choreographers and performers across Canada and the US. Lisa has participated in various performing arts, television, modelling, stage, opening ceremonies, and adjudicating events. Ms. Rootsaert has qualifications and training in Al Gilbert, RAD, ISTD, BATD, Acrobatic Arts, and continues to take classes with various dance masters around the world each season in order to provide new technique and create innovative and evolving choreography.
